What is Global Trek around Restek:  This team event challenges employees to partake in healthy behaviors on a daily basis (see below).  We have calculated the total mileage between our company locations globally, and your team will try to race around the globe as fast as possible. That’s 21,302 miles of racing!!!!

Any employee can participate in the program whether you are on-site in Bellefonte, work remotely in the US, work at Glastron, work in EMEA, or work in APAC.  Each team member can earn up to 60 miles per day completing their healthy behaviors.  Team members will submit their own totals via a team Excel spreadsheet a few times per week.  Each team member can earn up to 60 miles per day max completing their healthy behaviors.  

This is a fun event, and we are all for a little competition between teams, but please be honest with your activities!  More than anything, we want employees to work together, become healthier, feel better, and have fun.  

When:  Sign-ups from Thursday, December 19 – Monday, January 13
-Program begins on Monday, January 20th and lasts until the first team makes it around the globe

Earning Miles:
10 Miles Per Activity Completed Per Day (Max 60 miles/person/day)
Exercise – 30 minutes of exercise per day
Sleep – 7 hours of sleep per night
Fruits & Vegetables – 2 Fruit AND 2 Vegetable servings per day
Read a book, listen to an audio book or podcast – 15 minutes per day
Water – 65 ounces consumed per day
Get outside- spend 10 minutes outside per day
